Preselection Calendar

The Application deadline is May 10, 2024 for the cello, violin and piano sections.
For the Composition section the application deadline is June 30, 2024.

The Preselection wiil take place between May 17 and June 10, 2024.

The results for the cello, violin and piano preselection will be announced on the site https://concurs.festivalenescu.ro on June 14, 2024.

Competition Calendar

31st of August 2024 – Opening concert of the 19th edition of the George Enescu International Competition and Award Gala for the Composition Section.
The program of the concert will include a concerto performed by the three First Prize winners from the previous edition.

Cello section
·         First Round: 1 – 3 September 2024
·         Second Round: 5 – 6 September 2024
·         Semifinal: 8 September 2024
·         Final: 10 September 2024

Violin Section:
·         First Round: 7 – 9 September 2024
·         Second Round: 11 – 12 September 2024
·         Semifinal: 14 September 2024
·         Final: 16 September 2024

Piano Section:
·         First Round: 13 – 15 September 2024
·         Second Round: 17 – 18 September 2024
·         Semifinal: 20 September 2024
·         Final: 22 September 2024
