The National University of Music, Bucharest (UMB) was founded in 1864 by Prince Alexandru Ioan Cuza of Romania, as a Conservatory for Music and Drama. Many prestigious musicians studied here. Some of them had the privilege to learn and be inspired by George Enescu himself.
